Have you heard the sayings, “Great minds think alike”, “Birds of a feather, flock together”, or even “Misery loves company”? I believe these sayings are true and the people that you surround yourself with or those who receive your attention are important in the way that you live your life. I have been told, if you are the smartest person in the room, you need to leave the room. I also find this to be true when you are growing. How will you learn if you are not exposed to something new. New ideas, new places, new people, new food, just something NEW.
At times it is possible to find yourself as a standstill, state of complacency. This can be dangerous for those who seek growth. Do not be satisfied, be curious. Try something new. Go to a new restaurant or tour a new city. Learn a new language, just something NEW so that you can grow!
